Yu Qing (毓埥 Yù Qīng) is the former King of Nansu and Yu Xiao’s older half-brother.
History
Yu Qing wanted to conquer all the other kingdoms in order to become the sole ruler of the world. He successfully managed to destroy Tianji and Tianshu with the help of Murong Li.
In season two, he survives an assassination attempt by the hand of his younger half-brother, Yu Xiao, who tried to kill him because he believed his ambition to conquer and going to war with other kingdoms only brought misfortune to the citizens. However, Yu Xiao fails the assassination and Yu Qing was pressured to sentenced him to death, despite he didn’t really wanted to kill him.
He dies after an unsuccessful attempt to conquer Tianxuan, after which he is succeeded by Yu Xiao.
Trivia
Qi Kun (啟昆 Qǐ Kūn) was the last Emperor of Juntian.
Appearance
Qi Kun was a strong and very tall man.
Personality
Qi Kun was an honorable, fair, and kind man. Despite the fact that Qiu Zhen was sent to kill him, he had a high respect towards him because of his noble character. Qiu Zhen was also reluctant to kill him because he realized how good of a ruler he was.
History
Hungry-power king Ling Guang feared that Juntian was going to attack his kingdom anytime soon. Because of this, he sent his close confidant Qiu Zhen to assassinate Emperor Qi Kun. Qiu Zhen rescued him from a group of bandits and gained his trust under the guise of having been exiled from Tianxuan. Despite his initials doubts, Qi Kun allowed Qi Zhen to join his household and soon became one of his most trusted men. The Emperor loved his new companion and showered him with all kinds of honours; Qiu Zhen remained by his side for two years.
Qiu Zhen finally murdered him when Qi Kun planned to attack Tianxuan. Since Qi Kun had grow fond of Qiu Zhen during their time together, he spared his life and deliberately let him escape before dying.
After his death, the Empire of Juntian collapsed. The last duke under Qi Kun’s control, Jian Bin, declared his duchy Tianji an independent kingdom as well.

Xiao Pang (小胖 Xiǎo Pàng) is Zhi Ming’s personal servant.
Appearance
Xiao Pang is an average looking young boy with brown eyes and black hair. He usually wears black robes accompanied with a red inner robe.
Personality
Xiao Pang is a naive but kind-hearted person. He is very dedicated to his job as Zhi Ming’s personal servant and despite the fact that he doesn’t agree with many of his ideas (mainly because of his fear towards Zhi Ming’s tutor, Weng Tong), he still ends up being convinced anyway.
History
He is first introduced in season two as Zhi Ming’s personal attendant/servant. Little is known about him, but it’s show that he is extremely loyal to his master and country, despite his naiveness. He is often seen bringing food to Zhi Ming, playing with him when he is bored, advising him about his relationship with Murong Li, or communicating him Weng Tong’s orders.
During the coup d’etat to Tianquan by General Wei, he is locked up in a room together with Zhi Ming. After Zhi Ming is sentenced to death and forced to drink poisoned wine, Xiao Pang tries to convince him not to drink it. However, Zhi Ming is finally rescued by Zi Yu while Xiao Pang is left behind.
His destiny was uncertain during the next episodes. Only after Zhi Ming gains back Tianquan, it’s revealed that Xiao Pang has survived and he takes back his position as Zhi Ming’s servant.
Trivia
“Xiao Pang” (小胖) literally means “Little Fatty”. It’s unknown if this is his real name or it’s just a nickname given to him by Zhi Ming.
Mo Lan (莫瀾 Mò Lán) is a Magistrate of Tianquan, and Zhi Ming’s playmate.
Personality
Mo Lan shares many similarities with king Zhi Ming; he is carefree and he is only interested in having fun. He himself even admitted that he doesn’t understand anything about the big matters of the nation, despite his role as a magistrate, a position he inherited from his family.
He spends his days eating, playing around, and finding new ways to entertain Zhi Ming.
Despite his lazy behavior, he is well-versed in music, chess, literature, and art.
History
Mo Lan somehow got his hands on Juntian’s Imperial Seal and presented it to Zhi Ming as a gift because he thought he seemed bored. However, Zhi Ming rejects it immediately since having the seal was risky, and if the other kingdoms knew about that they would all come to snatch it.
Later, he is sent to Tianji as an envoy due to the kingdom’s foundation ceremony.
Son of General Ji and close friend of Murong Li.
History
He committed suicide instead of Murong Li, who after the defeat of his kingdom and death of his family planned to jump off from a tower to honor the nation. A-Xun was the one who convinced him to continue living, offering his own life for his beloved friend.
